A couple questions about ultralight airplanes? - free propeller calculations
I am thinking of building an airplane this summer. My goal is that it is cheaper and more convenient as possible. So my questions are:
1. PVC pipe is a material that is strong enough to build the framework for the wings?
2. How powerful is that my engine (helix) would be?
3. How important is the center of gravity? If it's important, should, if it be?
4. Is there somewhere I can download free sample plans to get an idea of what I get?

1) No! Completion of PVC, long before you into the air. Pipes made of metal, possibly aluminum, steel and titanium is heavier is expensive.
2) The finished product and how much it weighs. I would be at least 50 hp easily. See the link below
3) very important if you plan to stay upright. I am not a designer of airplanes, but I think in the middle of the wing.
4) Not that I know, but you can purchase a copy or two kit plane to give you an idea of project that you imagine. See second link below.
I am not trying to change his mind, but what lies ahead is very dangerous. What could be the first is the construction of a model and try to fly before you jump into a building and goes splat. Most men I've met who built her own plane, took a few years ago.
There are old pilots and bold pilots but no old bold pilots.
